Frankenmuth, Michigan

Frankenmuth offered a wealth of shopping opportunities.  Need to add this town to our bucket list.  Dick, Bob Y., Larry and Bob I. golfed in the neighboring town of Clio.

Dinner at World Famous Zehnders -  Chicken Dinner.  No one left starved.  Great tasting food and lots of it.  The wait staff answered every request with a smile and efficiency.

Chicago, Illinois Tour

AT&T Plaza/Cloud Gate is a 110 ton elliptical sculpture.  A seamless series of polished stainless steel plates which reflect the city and its inhabitants.  WOW!  WooHoo to all of us!  Highlight of the tour in my humble opinion.  Just amazing standing beneath the structure and looking up.  These pictures do not do it justice.  Much more impressive in person.  Oh, I do so need to learn to use my camera.

Al, our tour guide, sharing some history of the city

I'm on the outside looking in
I don' wanna be, I don' wanna be left on the outside all alone

Del and Georgianna patiently awaiting lunch at Gino's East.  We had a Chicago style pizza unlike any other pizza we ever tasted.  The crust was made from cornmeal.

Look carefully to the right of the frog's eyes.

Diane and Dick hoping to catch a glimpse of Harpo Studios.  Unfortunately, we were on the wrong side of Chicago.  Add it to the bucket list.
